Bromine is essential for the formation of certain biochemical compounds in corals and other marine organisms.
It is also believed that good LPS/SPS colouration, health, and florescence is linked to Bromine as it can influence the symbiotic relationship between corals and their zooxanthellae, it is significantly important to blue colouration.
Low Bromine concentrations can lead to loss of colour and growth, especially in sponges, soft corals and gorgonians. It also aids in neutralising harmful substances that could otherwise build up in coral tissues and cause damage.
10 ml of Bromine Zlement increases the Bromine concentration of 100 litres by 5 mg/l.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The use of Ozone and the dosing of Bromine should be handled with care, as both substances together may lead to the formation of Bromate a toxic compound. Therefore the ozonised water should be passed through an activated carbon filter.
